Just like any other nakshatra, Uttarashadha nakshatra has 4 quarters. While, generally 27 nakshatras are considered in total, the 4^th quarter of Uttarashadha nakshatra is considered as 28^th nakshatra in some traditions and is called Abhijit (Abhijit means invincible, victorious) nakshatra. Serial-wise it has 22^nd place and the serial no. 28 belongs to Revati nakshatra if 28 nakshatras are considered (Revati nakshatra generally has serial no. 27 if 27 nakshatras are considered in totality).
