Just like any other nakshatra, Uttarashadha nakshatra has 4 quarters. While, generally 27 nakshatras are considered in total, the 4th quarter of Uttarashadha nakshatra is considered as 28th nakshatra in some traditions and is called Abhijit (Abhijit means invincible, victorious) nakshatra. Serial-wise it has 22nd place and the serial no. 28 belongs to Revati nakshatra if 28 nakshatras are considered (Revati nakshatra generally has serial no. 27 if 27 nakshatras are considered in totality).
