कहते हैं, उम्मीद पे दुनिया कायम है,
संत कह गये हैं, दुनिया से अंततः दुख़ ही मिलता है,
अतः सभी दुखों के मूल में उम्मीद ही है,
चलो इन उम्मीदों से नाता तोड़ें,
न रहेगा बाँस, न बजेगी बाँसुरी,
उम्मीदों का न पालना ही कर्मयोग है,
कर्म धर्म समझकर न की उम्मीदें बाँधकर करें|

Outer Approval Seeking
Jnani on Giving
A poor man asked a Jnani,
“Why am I so poor?”
The Jnani said, “you do not learn to give.”
So the poor man said, “If I’m not having anything?”
Jnani said: “You have a few things,
The Face, which can give a smile;
Mouth: you can praise or comfort others;
The Heart: it can open up to others;
Eyes: who can look the other with the eyes of goodness;
Body: which can be used to help others.”
Karma Yoga Vs Jnana Yoga
Karma Yoga – Let me just live in this moment fully doing my dharma (duty). The results of my actions are not in my hands.
Jnana Yoga – Body is separate from me. Nature is doing everything. I am pure consciousness which is not the doer.
