The fear that computers would rule the world one day is a reality even now. This is due to the fact that most of us are identified* with the body-mind complex which is like a computer. Brain is like the hardware of a highly evolved computer and mind is like software controlling everything. So, it is mind that rules the world, not us.
*Identified means that, “I” is attached to it.
Karma Yoga – Let me just live in this moment fully doing my dharma (duty). The results of my actions are not in my hands.
Jnana Yoga – Body is separate from me. Nature is doing everything. I am pure consciousness which is not the doer.
There are two requirements to purify vasanas (mental impressions) and hence to calm vrittis (mental agitations):
– Gita [6.35]
– Patanjali Yogasutras [1.12]
Causal Body = Seed = Memory Body
Swadharma is the rule book following which existing vasanas are burned and new ones are not germinated.
A Yogi is that who lives in the instant not in the motion.
A great man does not become marginalised if he is called small just like the lord Krishna who could lift a mountain does not mind when he is called a flute player.
